| NATURAL FOLIAR FERTILIZERS |
|
Natural/Organic fertilizers can be mainly of two types “Water-soluble” and “Water-insoluble”. Water-soluble formulations generally work better for foliar applications since they can be more easily absorbed by the plant systems. Water-insoluble formulations generally are observed to be more suitable for soil applications since they must be dissolved before they can be absorbed. This also makes them slow acting. FOLIAR FERTILIZERS The plants meet their own Carbon requirement by the process of photosynthesis using the green pigment “Chlorophyll.” Other main nutrients required to be provided to the plants for healthy growth are: Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium. Equally vital are the nutrients: Calcium, Magnesium and sulfur. The minor or trace elements required to be provided are: iron, manganese, molybdenum, boron, copper, zinc and chlorine. To provide all these major and minor nutrients to the plants, suitable fertilizers are used. Since the requirement of minerals is dependent on the soil conditions and the plants, it is difficult to add them to the general purpose foliar fertilizers. Nitrogen requirement and that of vitamins and organics can be well met by the general purpose formulations of Natural fertilizers. HOW THEY WORK BIOMAX foliars have a complex blend and contain a number of biologically active functional groups including carboxylic acid, phenolic hydroxyl, methoxyl and amine groups. Carboxyl group enables humic acid to chelate positive charged ions like Mg++, Ca++, Fe++, and most other “trace elements” making them more available to the plants. The nutrient content of foliar feeds has a higher bio-availability and hence lead to easy absorption by the plants. Ingredients of these can be absorbed by the cells and fed into the metabolic machinery of the cell to accelerate the growth, often facilitating revival of the stressed out plants. They also act as energy sources through ATP conversions. BIOMAX Foliars facilitate growth of beneficial soil microbes in the root zone. TYPICAL FUNCTIONS OF NATURAL FOLIAR FERTILZIERS Advantage with Foliar fertilizers is that they are absorbed at a rate about 8 to 20 times faster than the soil fertilizers. Moreover they also stimulate the roots to absorb the soil nutrients at a faster rate. It is due to this reason, foliar fertilizers are ideal for revival of stressed out plants. Within less than 30 minutes the foliar applied nutrients start showing their effects. |
